Chronicle Points Have Arrived

Since we opened up Chronicle Protocol to the world in September 2023, the support the team and network have received has been overwhelming.
In what feels like a very short year, the protocol has seen adoption from the industry’s leading lights and most exciting new projects, including Circle, Coinbase, M^0, Morpho, Euler, Spark, Gnosis Pay and many more.
The decentralized validator network that powers the protocol and includes many of the most reputable names in crypto, such as Gitcoin, Gnosis, Infura, Etherscan, and MakerDAO (SKY), was joined by four new additions: Euler, Mantle, Nethermind, and ETH Global.
The product, which launched as the market's most decentralized, secure, resilient, and cost-efficient, has been optimized further, decreasing gas fees (in USD) by 51% on Ethereum and 92% on Layer 2, the cost-efficiency gap on Chainlink was widened, with Chronicle Oracle updates coming in at 79% cheaper, and Messari independently assessed the security of the oracles at 225% higher than Chainlink.
Finally, two new products came online in addition to the core price feed oracles, the Yield Rate (Risk) Oracle and the RWA Oracle.
It’s been quite a year, and to top it off, we are excited to launch our first community initiative with Chronicle Points, available exclusively through the SKY Protocol.
Chronicle Points: The lowdown

The exclusive launch of Chronicle Points with SKY, enables eligible participants the opportunity via the Sky.Money dapp to supply USDS to accrue Chronicle Points.
In the near future, eligible participants can also access Chronicle Points via The Chronicle.
Some things to note:
- Access to Chronicle Points is currently governed by the eligibility criteria of SKY Protocol. Specific locations are blocked. Full details can be found here.
- The exclusive launch of Chronicle Points with SKY enables eligible participants the opportunity to supply USDS via Sky Money to accrue Chronicle Points. Chronicle Points will be tracked and may be calculated at a rate of 10 points per unit with 10 billion total supply, as a reference, with Chronicle Points being emitted at a rate of 3.75 billion per year.
- Eligible users must supply USDS to begin accruing Chronicle Points.
- There is no minimum supply requirement for USDS.
