BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund
The BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL) provides digital, tokenized exposure to a highly liquid portfolio of U.S. dollar-denominated short-term debt, including U.S. Treasury bills, cash, and repurchase agreements. As BlackRock's first tokenized money market fund, it bridges traditional institutional-grade credit with blockchain technology, featuring a stable $1.00 net asset value (NAV) per token. Shares are recorded on-chain via the Ethereum, Avalanche, Solana, Aptos, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, and BNB Chain networks, enabling peer-to-peer transfers between whitelisted addresses. The fund offers institutional investors redemption options including traditional settlement via Securitize or instant on-chain liquidity through near-instant 24/7/365 stablecoin redemption. Monthly dividend distributions are paid directly to investor wallets as new tokens. The fund is managed by BlackRock Financial Management, Inc., with Bank of New York Mellon serving as custodian and administrator, and Securitize providing tokenization and transfer agent services.
