The deSPXA (7/24 Price Proxy) oracle delivers a continuously updated reference price for the Centrifuge deSPXA token, a decentralized on-chain instrument providing exposure to the S&P 500 index. Given that the official Net Asset Value of deSPXA is published on-chain once daily with a 24 to 48 hour settlement lag, this proxy mechanism ensures price continuity by deriving a real-time valuation from three authoritative data sources: the most recently verified NAV and corresponding timestamp extracted directly from the deSPXA smart contract on the Base blockchain, the official S&P 500 closing price as of that NAV date sourced from Yahoo Finance, and a continuous 24/7 S&P 500 reference price from Hyperliquid's officially licensed xyz:SP500 perpetual derivatives market. The proxy price is computed by applying the observed S&P 500 return since the last verified NAV publication to the prevailing on-chain NAV, producing a dynamically adjusted valuation for deSPXA continuously.
